Bicentennial merchandise in limited quantity/sizes is now available for purchase at discounted prices at the Hoiles-Davis Museum gift shop! Visit the museum (318 W Winter, Greenville, Ill) on Saturdays 10a-noon and Sundays 2p-4p.


The Greenville Bicentennial officially wrapped up its duties Monday night, April 11, 2016, as representatives from the committee presented a check for $10,713.58 to the Kingsbury Park District for the development of a Bicentennial Park at the corner of Winter and 4th Streets. This will be the Bicentennial's legacy project for the community. Creation of the park is about two years away.

The Greenville Bicentennial's time capsule will be officially retired Thursday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Montrose Mausoleum. Read More!

Greenville's Bicentennial year came to a close New Year's Eve with a semi-formal gala at Greenville College's Armington Center.  Earlier in the afternoon, a brief ceremony was held New Year's Eve afternoon to retire the Bicentennial time capsule at the Montrose Mausoleum.

And we're not done quite yet! In 2016, we still have more publications, media, and a permanent monument on the way to commemorate the celebrations!
